Terms of Service

Last updated 17 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Craftshot: the online editor at craftshot.dev/create, the craftshot command-line tool and its local studio, and the paid Craftshot Pro plans. Craftshot is provided by Pramika Tech, India ("we", "us"). By using Craftshot or buying a plan, you agree to these terms.

1. What Craftshot does

Craftshot turns your app screenshots into App Store and Google Play images: device frames, backgrounds and headlines, exported as PNG files. The online editor runs in your browser, and the CLI runs on your own computer. Your screenshots are not uploaded to us; see the Privacy Policy.

2. Free and Pro plans

Prices are in US dollars. Taxes are calculated at checkout. We may change prices for new purchases; a price change for an active subscription applies from its next renewal, and we will tell you by email before it does.

3. Payment

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Dodo Payments handles your card details, billing, taxes and invoices, and its own terms apply to the payment. We never see or store your full card number.

4. License keys and activations

After you pay, you receive a license key by email. The key turns on Pro in the online editor and in the CLI (craftshot activate <key>). Each place where you activate the key uses one activation: every browser (and browser profile) where you use the editor counts as one, and every computer where you run craftshot activate counts as one, however many projects or terminals you use on it. So the editor in one browser plus the CLI on the same computer uses 2 activations. Using the key in CI through CRAFTSHOT_LICENSE_KEY uses none. Clearing the site's data in your browser, or using a private window, can use up an activation, so choose Remove first. The limits are:

You can free an activation by choosing Remove in the editor or running craftshot deactivate, and then use it somewhere else. A key is for you or your own team. Do not publish, share or resell it, and do not try to get around the plan limits. We may disable a key that is shared publicly or misused.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel a subscription at any time from the link in your Dodo Payments receipt email, or by writing to contact@pramikatech.com. Pro stays on until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then the subscription does not renew. Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.

6. Your content

Your screenshots, text and exported images stay yours. You are responsible for having the rights to what you put into Craftshot, and for making sure the images you publish follow the App Store and Google Play guidelines.

7. AI headlines

"Write headlines with AI" is optional. In the online editor it uses your own Anthropic API key, and in the CLI's studio it uses the coding agent you have installed (such as Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI). Your screenshots go from your device straight to that provider under its own terms; they do not pass through us. Check AI-written text before you publish it.

8. Open source

The Craftshot CLI is based on goldie by Kacper Kapuściak, used under the MIT License, and includes other open-source components under their own licenses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licenses.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use Craftshot to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer our services or license system.

10. No warranty

Craftshot is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise that it will be error-free or always available, or that the store will accept every image it makes.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Craftshot in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change materially affects paying customers, we will tell them by email before it takes effect.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
