Privacy Policy

In short: there is no Craftshot account, and your screenshots never leave your device for our servers. We see your license key when it is checked, and the order details Dodo Payments shares with us when you buy Pro. We use no analytics or advertising trackers.

This policy explains how Pramika Tech, India ("we", "us") handles information when you use Craftshot: the website, the online editor, the craftshot CLI and its local studio.

1. Your screenshots and designs

In the online editor, the screenshots you add and your design choices are stored only in your own browser (IndexedDB and local storage). Rendering and downloading happen in your browser. In the CLI and local studio, everything stays in your project folder on your computer. We do not receive, store or look at your screenshots.

"Save design" downloads a file to your computer. It is not sent to us.

2. Purchases

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo Payments collects the details needed to take payment, such as your name, email address, billing country and card. We receive your name, email address, country, the plan you bought and its status from Dodo Payments. We never receive your full card details.

We use this to provide Pro, send the license key, handle cancellations and answer support requests. We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.

3. License checks

When you activate or check a license key, the editor or CLI sends the key to our server, which passes it to Dodo Payments to confirm it is valid. The request includes an activation name: "Craftshot web editor" for the editor, or "Craftshot CLI" and your computer's name for the CLI. The CLI checks the key about once a day while you use it. The key is stored on your device: in your browser's local storage, or in ~/.config/craftshot/license.json for the CLI.

4. AI headlines

"Write headlines with AI" is optional. In the online editor, you enter your own Anthropic API key. The key is stored only in your browser, and your screenshots are sent directly from your browser to Anthropic, not through us. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that request. In the local studio, the feature runs the coding agent installed on your computer (such as Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI), under that provider's terms.

5. Hosting and logs

The website and license server run on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against abuse. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when you open it. We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising.

6. Email

If you write to us, we use your email and message only to reply and help you.

7. How long we keep data

We keep purchase and license records for as long as your plan is active and afterwards as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal reasons. Support emails are kept while they are useful for helping you.

8. Your choices and rights

Clear the editor's data at any time with Start over, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to contact@pramikatech.com. Some purchase records must be kept for tax law.

9. Children

Craftshot is a tool for app developers and is not directed at children under 13.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell paying customers by email.
